***As expected these went QUICK! They are already GONE.***

Olay is giving away free Regenerist Starter Kits ($35 value) to the first 1000 women to sign up at 12 PM on Feb 24 (which is tomorrow) here. I have no clue what time zone the 12 PM is refering to, but will try to find out.
This would be a nice one to get, but it will probably be tough to be in the first 1000. Worth a shot though...

Thanks Money Saving Madness.

Amazon.com has a great feature you may not be aware of-they have 4-for-3 books. I was just looking in the bestsellers for their 4-for-3-books, and they have some great prices on some really popular books right now. Like, the Fourth Percy Jackson book for only $4.39! There are literally thousands of books to choose from, and you can browse the childrens 4-for 3 books here.

I am also including some links to a few of the great deals I found in this post so you can have a direct link to some of my faves! Happy book hunting (a weakness of mine-thanks mom)!

Today's deal is $20 of Barbecue Fare and Drinks at McKenna's Blues, Booze and BBQ for $10! Make sure you check out the fine print on all the deals before purchasing. To sign up for Groupons, click on my referral link here (this does NOT commit you to buying any deal-you choose what you buy) and to see the Omaha page, including today's deal, click here. Not sure what Groupons is? Then keep reading!

Groupons is a website that offers group coupons (thus the name). Their website says "Each day, Groupon features an unbeatable deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in your city. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it 'collective buying power!'"

So, this is how it works. If you like the product of the day, you go to your page, click "buy" and fill out your payment information and everything. If there are enough people that sign up that day before midnight to get the discounted price, your card will be charged and you will get the deal for the day. If not, they do not charge your card. So, the trick is to get enough people to sign up each day.

I signed up for this website a couple months ago as Omaha was on their list of cities served, but the Omaha deals did not actually start until this week. I am happy to report that now Omaha is up and running.

Kohl's is having a 2 day sale today (Tuesday 2/23) and Tomorrow. The sale is 40-50% off, plus they have some Gold Start deals going on which means 80% or more off! The Gold Star sales are the ones that I ALWAYS use to get my best deals!!

You can get a free sample of Olay Total Effects Body Wash from Walmart. Here's how: First Click here. Once you get there, click on "request a free sample" on the left side in the middle. On the next screen click on "get sample". That will bring up the short form you need to fill out.

Thanks Freebies 4 Mom.

Walgreens Photo is having their 7 days 7 deals sale this week. They are all ok deals-but one, on Thurdays 2/25, is a great deal: a totally free 8X10! Click here to print your coupon for Thursday's deal! You can see all the daily deals here.

Thanks Moms by Heart for the heads up on Thursday's freebie!

This is a bit early, but I will post it before I forget. IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day on February 23, 2010 by offering a free short stack.

This is what their website says: "Join IHOP to celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., we'll give you one free short stack (three) of our famous buttermilk pancakes. (There is a limit of one free short stack per guest) All we ask is that you consider making a donation to support local children's hospitals through Children's Miracle Network, or other local charities."

The small print reads "The offer is valid at participating restaurants for dine-in only while supplies last and is not valid with any other offer, special coupon or discount."

So, mark your calendars! But be warned-never underestimate the power of the word FREE! When Denny's did a similar promotion last year, I went there a half hour before it started, had to park a mile away walk through deep snow with 3 kids in tow only to find a line that reached about a half mile or so long that was estimated to take 5 hours to take 4-5 hours to get served. I turned around, went to Perkins, paid way too much for breakfast, then watched the news later and saw that many people in the line never got food as it ran out! It was nuts-so prepare for lines! I will still attempt it this time! I cannot resist the word free...
