Dunkin Donut update!

I am reading in several places around the blogosphere that some people had a hard time getting their free Coffee today at Dunkin Donuts. So, for next Monday, if you plan to go get your free coffee, it might be a good idea to print this page to take with you to show the employees. Just a thought.

Do these freebies really work?

This is a repost from a while back. Still valid and good info...

A few people have asked me if I actually go to all the sales and get all the freebies (I do not, but I try to get the deals I need and I sign up for almost all the freebies). I have also been asked whether these freebies actually work. (YES, but not always!)

Now, it takes a while before you start seeing things in your mailbox. Often, I get something in the mail that I have forgotten ever requesting. So, to keep track a bit better of what works, I have started going back in my blog posts and putting two stars next to the post name of all the posts where I have seen the product or personally gone shopping for or gotten that deal. Now you can see what deals are working for me. Just in case you wondered...

You lucky, LUCKY Utahns! Evidently there is a grocery store in Utah (looks like maybe in Ogden area) now, called Family Fresh Foods that doubles coupons EVERY DAY!! WOW. My sister told me about this deal a long time ago and somehow I forgot to blog about it and now it is all over the frugal blogs! So, sorry I missed being the first to tell you.

Anyway, if you go here and sign up for their email list, Benihana will send you a Birthday certificate for a free meal (a $30 value).

Benihana is by far my favorite all time restaurant. I have not lived near one for 6 years now and I still CRAVE it often! LOVE it! So, this hurts that I cannot use this. You all better make good use of it for me! Maybe I will join and plan a trip to visit my family for my birthday...I could go to the Greek festival too while I am there and it would be heaven!!   :)

I read on Couponing to Disney that if you join Lilaguide.com and write 10 reviews, you will get a $5 gift card to Target. So, I just joined and wrote my first review to test it out. Sure enough, I got an email telling me that if I write 9 more reviews I will get a $5 gift card. It only took me a couple minutes to join and write the first review and I suspect I can write all the reviews in about a half hour. Not bad for $ of free money to spend at Target, right?! I find today's Groupon deal in Omaha to be quite interesting. It is $30 for a Five-Week Piano Workshop at Sherrine's Piano Studio ($127 Value). For $30, you get a five-week piano workshop, including learning materials. The fact that it includes the learning materials makes me pretty amazed by this deal...
