For those loyal readers that do not know what I am talking about, I am the guest blogger on Momaha.com today! You can see my post on their website here.

I have told you about Dave and Buster's before and even hosted a giveaway for them. I realized that I never posted about it after I went and used my gift card though, and can I tell you it was SOOO much fun! My husband and I went there one day when there was a free $10 in game play, plus we had a gift card, so we had a cheap date night that was a blast! We got tons of awesome tickets with which we "bought" a stuffed Huskers toy and 2 packs of playing cards. And we had a blast playing all the games to get the tickets (I did get a little too excited about the game where you put in a coin and try to get other coins to drop-I would be in so much trouble in Vegas...)
Anyway-I was already writing this post about how much I loved Dave and Buster's when an email came through just now from them letting me know about ANOTHER free $10 of play you can get right now! Here are the details straight from them:

The American Automobile Association (AAA) estimates that 39 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more this 4th of July weekend. Dave & Buster’s has a better idea – stay relaxed and take a Play-cation instead!

Our air conditioned Midway has hundreds of games to feed your summer fun, and you don’t have to pass a TSA screening to get in. To raise the stakes, everyone gets $10 in free game play! All you have to do is visit the Play-cation website, print the free coupon and get to your local Dave & Buster’s by July 10th to enjoy a hassle-free day of play.

So what are you waiting for? Let the Play-cation begin!

Seriously-I am SOOOO there! Who's with me?! (Wes-you better be raising your hand because we are so going!!!)

Remember all you have to do to get the $10 free play is visit the Play-cation website, print the free coupon and get to your local Dave & Buster’s by July 10th to enjoy a hassle-free day of play.

Have I mentioned before that I am a party animal? Granted that with 5 kids and a semi-anti-social husband, I do not get to party all that much these days, but I LOVE a good party! And contrary to some of my friends, I love, LOVE a GOOD party game. I am a sucker for a goofy, fun game! So, you can imagine that when I was given the opportunity to review Luau Party Games, I jumped at the chance! Well...I am not sure I literally jumped, but you get the picture. (Spoiler-it has lots of GOOD party games-and a FREEBIE for my readers...you'll want to keep reading)

What is it?

Let me tell you a little about the Luau Party Games Pack from Python Printable Games I was able to download and review. It consists of invitations (four styles), paper dolls, Mad Libs, trivia, ice-breakers, coloring game for kids, synonyms, gift exchange and more. AND you can instantly download games to your PC or Mac and you print them yourself for immediate use. As they say, "There's no such thing as leaving it too late with Python Printable Games!"

What did I think?

I am loving this party pack. I seriously cannot wait to have a luau themed party-maybe a kids birthday, or playgroup social, or maybe my sister-in-law would let me have a luau themed baby shower for her?! Seriously, one of the things I really like is the variety of games in this pack-you could use it to plan a party for anything from an adult night out complete with beer trivia (included in pack), to a kids party with mad libs, paper dolls, and games (included in pack), to a newlywed party (with the newlywed game in pack)....I could go on and on. There are a lot of different kinds of luau parties you could throw with this party.

I love the mad libs and the gift exchange game the best. They are so much fun and would be hilarious at a party!

Where can you find them?

You can purchase the complete Luau Party Games Pack that I reviewed on the Python Printable website here

I seriously could not be more excited about this review and giveaway! Yes, I said giveaway-and trust me, if you have kids in sports you are going to want to stay tuned and hear about this awesome product!

What is it?

I had the opportunity to review the Protech Dent™ Mouth Guard for kids. Let me tell you a bit about their product:

• The first thoroughly scientifically tested mouth guard
• Developed in The Operating Room for patient safety
• Ultra thin (1.6 mm)
• Extremely comfortable
• 30% stronger than conventional mouth guards - a revolutionary technology with built in crumple zones
• No germ transfer from dirty hands
• ISO-certified - all American manufacturing
• These athletic mouth guards are specifically designed so you can breathe without difficulty, easily talk with teammates during practice and games, and drink without removing the guard.

What did I think?

First let me tell you the first experience I had with my son and a mouth guard. Though it was for kids, he gagged on it and threw up on me. We ended up buying and molding many mouth guards last year trying to find one that did not gag this small mouthed kid. He hated it. I was really nervous to agree to a mouth guard review as I was afraid in might be a similarly horrible experienc to previous mouth guards. It was not! It was quick and easy and made a great mouth guard. In fact, I made a video of us shaping the mouth guard. Check it out:
Note he did not gag and he said it was great!! And we quickly and easily formed this:

I would recommend checking out Protech Dent™ Mouth Guards. They come in kids AND adult sizes so if you play sports you might want one for yourself!

Where can you get one?

I have to thank my good friend Merrilyn for reminding me about the free and cheap summer movies around town! (And speaking of Merrilyn, can I take a minute to congratulate her and her family for getting through residency-nicely done!!!)
Anyway-Here are some fun free/cheap Movies around town this summer:

1-Rave theatres have Free Movies every Wednesday at 10 am:

For locals, there is a Rave Theater at Westroads Mall (about Dodge and I-680). In other states, check to see if there is a theater nearby on this list.

2-Great Escape Theaters has free movies Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, beginning at 9:30 am. (I have found this place to be the easiest to get into for free movies and they have been really nice in the past...just an FYI for locals)

The flyer for the local Omaha theater (located at 7440 Crown Point Ave. or near 72nd St. and Sorensen Parkway) can be viewed online here. If you are not in Omaha, you can check for a participating location near you here.

3-Marcus Theatres has $2 family friendly films each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10am from June 21st through August 11th. You can see the schedule here.

For local readers there are 2 Marcus theaters in Omaha. They are located at: 14304 West Maple Road, 3201 Farnam Street, & 304 North 174th Street, as well as one in Bellevue at 3909 Raynor Parkway. If you are not a local reader, check here to check for a local theater that is having this same kids movie special. (They are located in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

And as an FYI, in the past I LOVED going to the AMC movies, but they have discontinued doing the Summer family movies. You can still get a much discounted price on movies before noon though. Please go here to read their statement about the less expensive movies and about why they have discontinued their summer free movies.
