Admission: My hair is rapidly growing in gray...yes I said it, my hair is basically gray now. I, however am SOOO not ready to let that happen, so I dye my hair. Often. About every 6 weeks. Really! Look at how gray my hair was a few days ago (take special note of the new growth):
That's right Roots Only is an awesome applicator that you can use with your hair dye or hair conditioners. And it is reusable!!

What is the Deal?

Here is the information about the product and company as provided to me:

Roots Only Incorporated is a woman-owned business based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We distribute personal applicators and products that simplify home hair care routines of our customers. Our patented, delivery applicator is ideal for the application of hair color, conditioning growth oil, medicated shampoo and other solutions for the scalp and roots. We manufacture high quality, affordable products that save you time and money while offering professional results. All Roots Only brand products are reusable and 100% made in the USA.

What did I think?

Well, I took a short video of me trying it out (it skips a bit, but you can see how easy using the product is!):

You should note the number of times in the video I mention how easy it is. Because my main point here is that this is easy to use! And it really helped me to get the dye throughout my hair! Here are a few pictures of me dying my hair and using the Roots Only applicator:

And here is a picture of my hair right before dying:

And right after:

And even a few days later-still not gray showing through! So the applicator really got the roots and the gray WELL!!

One more thing to mention is that it is REALLY easy to rinse out so I can use it again. My bottle is all ready for me to use again next time!

Bottom Line?

This is a great applicator product that can really help of you have a similar problem to mine (IE gray roots!!). If you dye your hair and want an easy reusable product that WILL get your roots well, I recommend trying this out!

Where can you get it?

You can purchase it at the Roots Only website in 1, 2 or 3 packs for $5.99-$15.

Thanks for reading and please note that I was given a product free of charge to try out for the sake of a review. I was not compensated in any other way, and as always all opinions expressed are my own!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I have told you before about how I LOVE being a #CrowdTapper! Through Crowd Tap I have been able to do 2 Old Navy Shop and shares (See my latest #Crowdtapper post about my Outerwear one here), shared my opinions on a variety or topic, had the opportunity to donate some of my earnings to Autism Speaks, and now I was chosen for a Hosted Party! This one was for the Smurfs Movie.

I was send a digital party kit that included clips from the movie as well as activities and fun ideas I could print out. The party times happened to be right over my daughter's 9th birthday, so Last Saturday she had a #smurftastic birthday party.

If you know me, you know I can never leave thing alone and I tend to go overboard. So I bought the movie to view the whole thing (rather than watching just the provided clips). We planned a couple games from the suggested games (Smurf Bingo, "Papa Smurf Says", and a Treasure Hunt). And I decked out the house in Smurfy blue.

We had about 20 kids over ready to party Smurfy style. We colored the coloring pages (from my digital party pack) as we waited for all the kids to arrive. Then we were set to watch the movie. I grabbed the disc out of the box, and (you won't believe this) as I put it in the DVD player, it CRACKED!! Like TOTALLY cracked! AHHHH...

Luckily "Papa Beckee's Deals" (Aka- Mr Beckee's Deals or Wes) was actually home and not on call (gasp) and was able to run over the Redbox and rent it real quick!! And since I had the games and the digital clips I could use, I was still set with things to do to keep the party going!

When Papa Beckee's Deals returned with the movie, we popped it into our DVD player and settled in with our Smurfy treats to watch it.

Can I throw in a little review here and tell you that I LOVED it! Super Cute! And it has a great cast. Neil Patrick Harris is one of my favorites ever, plus the Smurf voices are all so unique and perfectly cast, plus Hank Azaria as Gargamel! Perfection! There are jokes for parents and kids! I recommend checking it out as a good family film!

That being said, the Party was a great success! I took a few pictures to share (again-avoiding faces so as not to splatter friends faces all over the web). Check out the fun:

Thanks again Crowdtap for choosing me to host this fun party! My girl had a great birthday and LOVED the Smurfy theme! It truly was Smurftastic!!

***I was provided digital content to use for my party by Crowd Tap. I was asked to have a #Smurftastic party then to report back on it. Purchasing the movie and all the Smurfy extras were done by me. All opinions expressed are my own!!***

My Brother-In-Law, Jeremy, is a part of the awesome group Octappella. (In the picture above, Jeremy is the one on the far right in the red Christmas hat). Octappella is a great A capella group based in Utah. If you live or will be in Salt Lake City on December 26-27, you should go see their annual Christmas Concert (I highly recommend it!!).

The tickets are regularly priced at $16, but you can get them today on KSL for $9!!! What a deal! Hurry over and get them now before they are gone at the price (44% off!!)!

If you miss the KSL deal, you can still purchase tickets here at regular price.

I am a member of the Church if Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and my baby sister just entered the missionary training center for our church. When boys and girls in our church go on missions, they cannot call us, they can only email parents and siblings (I think) and that only happens for a short amount of time, once a week. So, we communicate through old fashioned snail mail letters.

I am THE WORST at mailing letters, so yesterday my mom told me about a website, DearElder.com, she had heard of that will print out and hand deliver your typed up letter to your missionary in the MTC (Missionary Training Center) or in Pouch Missions for FREE! YEAH!! I can type up my letter and they will print it, stuff it, and deliver it to her at noon that day (or the next day if I write it after noon).

I have already sent one letter, and I will be actually mailing another one today full of pictures of and by my kids, but this is a fantastic FREE way to send out some love to missionaries in the MTC.

(By the Way They also have packages you can buy to send, but obviously those are not free)

My sister JUST entered the MTC on Wednesday-we have not even heard from her yet! But I know that Christmas will be a little lonely without family for her, so if anyone knows Melanie and would write her a quick note of love and support, I would REALLY appreciate it! Email me at beckeesdeals@gmail.com and I will send you her MTC address!

***I realize I have many readers from different backgrounds and different religious beliefs. But I also know I have many readers of my same faith, and this website/service was too neat not to share. So please forgive me if it does not apply to you. Thanks!***

Burger King has new fries! They are pretty sure they have improved on the old ones and they want you to try them out! So, TODAY is FREE Fries Day!! No coupon required! It looks like you just have to go over and ask for your free fries (it does say available while supplies last and at participating BK's, so maybe call your local BK before you go?! You can find your closest BK here).
