Sunday Savings: Hyvee + Stoney Brook grand opening sales and events

OK, so there was an ad in the paper today of the Best of Fresh deals at Hy-Vee going on today (Sunday May 16th) through Tuesday (May 18th). Here are some of the good deals to check out:
  • Bananas $.44/lb
  • Hy-Vee Cottage Cheese 12 oz $.88
  • Dole Classic Iceberg Salad, Coleslaw of Creamy Coleslaw kit $.97
  • Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts $1.88/lb
And since I am talking about Hy-Vee, let me tell you about the sales going on for the grand opening of the Stony Brook store (Opening On Tuesday, May 18th at 144th and Stoney Brook). These grand opening prices are good from Tuesday May 18-Sunday May 23. Here are some of the deals:
  • Yoplait Yogurt 6 oz $.37 (limit 12)
  • House of Raeford Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts 2.5lb bag $3.77 (limit 4)
  • Hy-Vee Canned Veggies 12 count  $3.97 (making them $.33 each-limit 4)
  • Pepsi Products 6 pack 24 oz bottles $1.97 (limit 2)
  • 85% lean Ground Chuck $1.98/lb
  • DiLusso: Buy 1 lb sliced meats, get 1/2 lb cheese FREE

I would also like to note that this new Hy-Vee will have fresh sushi daily, and a Culinary Chef room where they will have Culinary classes, demonstrations, seminars and wine/beer tastings! I hope they have a cooking class for Japanese food-Wes would LOVE for me to attend that!! This new store looks GREAT! Cannot wait to check it out.

There is also a Hy-Vee gas station at the new store, and this Saturday, May 22 from 10am-4pm you can get a FREE hot dog just for stopping by!
