Yesterday I posted a blog about my borther's awesoem service project here. Please take the time to read all about it, but even if you don't read that whole explaination, basically he is collecting toys adn rollerblades to donate to the Kidstar Program at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Hospital. It is a GREAT cause!

If you are considering donating something but do not have a lot of money, I just wanted to let you know a couple things.

First, there are many toy and game coupons available from Hasbro here. Using those coupons, you can score some pretty great deals at Walmart with their everyday prices. Second, often you can find sales going on which you can combine with the coupons to get great deals!

One of those great deals is going on today only at Toys R Us. Their Deal of the Day is My Little Pony B1G1. If you have your Hasbro Insert from the Sunday paper on 3/21, there is a B1G1 free coupon for My Little Pony in there. So, presumably, if this works at Toys R Us like it does at other places, they should both be free. You can also print out that same B1G1 coupon at the Hasbro site here. (Thanks Couponing to Disney.

Why, you ask, would those be free?! Basically it is like getting 1 free from the store (in this case Toys R Us) and 1 free from the manufacturer. Manufacturers coupons are just another form of payment like a check or credit card or cash as far as th stores are concerned. So, when the store has a B1G1 sale and you have a manufacturers coupon for B1G1, the store is giving you one free on their sale. You give them the coupon which gives you 1 free from the manufacturer, and the store gets the money from the manufacturer (which is why the coupon is like cash to them).

One of the main things I wanted to tell you about this morning was the Toy R Us 2 day Easter Sale with all day doorbusters going on this weekend, but I obviously forgot to get that up earlier! So, here it is: Toy R Us is having a 2 Day Easter Sale today and tomorrow, and boy is it good!! My faves are the BOGO Disney DVD's, and BOGO books! There are a lot more great deals, so go check it out here.

This is what is so interesting-those card games include Monopoly Deal & Scrabble slam. Match up this B1G1 free offer with one of the Monopoly or Scrabble coupon I told you about here and I bet this could be a great deal. If you have not printed those coupons yet, the Monopoly one is still available here.

WOW! As a "Happy Birthday Barbie" promotion, Toys R Us is having a new updated Barbie at her debut price. That means you get Barbies for $3 each! FYI-it is a limit of 1 per person and while supplies last. But I have found that in recent time, TRU keeps a pretty good stock of sale items, and, my family of 6 has 6 customers in it. This would be a great item to stock up on for firends borthdays or whatnot...I'm just saying...

Wow, this is somethin! Evidently, Toys R Us has the Pictureka Flipper game on sale for $6.98. (Check your local ad online here to make sure it's there-it's on page 6 of my local ad. I would print the page with the price listed and bring it with me just to be sure).

Know why this is such an awesome deal? Because if you print the Pictureka $5/1 Coupon here you can get the game for only $1.98!! That is cheap enough to buy and stash away for a birthday or Easter, or something! And, I happen to have 4 of those coupons, so I could really stock up! Did you get that Babies R Us $5 Gift Card for becoming a Facebook Fan the other day? If so this is an even better deal as the gift card says it can also be used at Toys R Us!

Check it out-Toys R Us is having a Stock Up and Save deal going on beginning tomorrow (1/31) and ending 2/6 that could be really good. There are a number of Stock Up Deals: A Pampers Bin one, A Huggies one, a Pampers/Tide/Dreft/Bounty/Charmin one, and 2 different baby formula ones. If you use a lot of these products like I do the deals are pretty good for stocking up. Check them out here.

Let me just tell you about the Huggies one . Here's the deal:

The sale on Huggies is that you buy ANY 2 Huggies value Boxes of diapers (100-288 count) and 1 value box of wipes (320-576 count) and you get a $15 gift card back for Toy R Us. The Boxes of diapers are around $42 each (They are huge) and the wipes are about $12. So your total is going to be around $96. Then if you have coupons (I have $4.75 worth I can use) and if you have the $5 gift card from Faceboook (I had 2 of them, so $10 worth), that brings the total down, in my case to around $81. Then I get a $15 gift card back for my next purchase so it is like I paid $66 and got enough diapers and wipes to last for months!

I have to tell you though that the size of diapers I needed (5) is not available for this deal (I went down last night to the local store and talked to them about it). So, I am not doing this deal after all. Instead I spend my gift cards on a couple outfits for my Kindle and a video game from Wes for the kids. I will post about that deal soon!
