I cannot express how blessed I feel to be asked to review so many great products. This is a particularly fun one because it brought me back to my youth! I remember as a kid waiting through the rest of the year for late September when these favorite cereals would come back for the holiday: Oh boy was it ever a treat when my parents would let us get one! Count Chocula, FrankenBerry, and Boo Berry can often be found this time of year still, but Yummy Mummy, and Frute Brute have been gone for a while. But guess what?! Target is going back in time with exclusive retro packaging, AND they are re-introducing two throwback flavors: Fruity Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute!
And thanks to General Mills through MyBlogSpark I got the chance to try out some of these fine cereals and to share them with my family. AND I have a sweet deal to share with you, as well as a giveaway! Yipee!!!

What did we think?
Before I answer that, let me tell you what I got to review. 
I was so happy that we were sent 3 flavors of cereal: Boo Berry, Fruity Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute, as well as a $25 gift card to Target so I could go pick up some more cereal!  I had all 5 of my kids, my husband and myself all taste test the cereal. I will say this-all were a hit, though everyone had their own favorite. And apparently our family is not super fond of Orange cream flavored cereal because the Fruity Yummy Mummy was the least favorite (though still liked). I liked Boo Berry best. Most of the kids liked the Frute Brute best, and my husband liked them all. He noted that they are particularly good cereals to put in milk then drink the milk after. I am not a fan of milk with cereal, but if you like to drink milk from the bowl after you eat the cereal, Wes says these are great cereals for that! So, after I took all the pics for the review and was ready to write it, I went to work on a few things, came back in the kitchen and found my youngest sitting at the table having helped himself to more cereal. So, I set up the cereal in a way the camera could catch it and recorded this little video of what he thought:

I get a lot of PR info from people in my email. Often it is not relevant to my blog or is a "deal" I don't really think is that great, Today though, I was contacted and asked if I would share today's Daily Deal at Target.com, and I think it IS a pretty sweet deal that might be relevant to some of you (can you say Christmas?!).

I may or may not have mentioned that Target now has a new Sample site. And currently there is a free sample for Garnier Rescue available on the site! Go here to sign up for your sample. I have to tell you I really love how easy it is to sign up for the samples on their site! Go check it out! I have yet to receive any samples, but that is because they are new so I have no clue whether they will be those tiny ones or if they will be a bit bigger samples. Here's to hoping for the bigger samples!

I thought I posted this the other day, but my sister pointed out to me that I had not posted it yet. I am sorry that some of my posts that I schedule seem to ba having problems this week! But if you are looking to buy The Princess and the Frog, you can do it really inexpensively. There are coupons out for it, and there are rebates you can do. Combining these offers can make this movie essentially free.

If you are buying the Blu Ray/DVD combined pack, make sure you print out and use the coupon here to get $10 off. If you are buying the DVD (which is on sale at both Target and Walmart for just under $16), get the coupon here for $5 off that.

On top of those coupons, there are 3 different rebates out there you can use to get money back as well. Of course the rebates are great if the other things you have to buy are things you would buy anyway or need or can get for free or cheap, otherwise, for me, it is not worth doing the rebates. However, as an FYI, you CAN do up to 2 of these rebates as theur have 2 proofs of purchase tags on the movie, and it appears that you can use photocopies of the reciepts for these. Also, I do not think you need to purchase the movie and the items on the same reciept. So if you have already bought the movie and want to do a rebate still, you probably can. Please read each rebate carefully before you do it though and don't take my word for it. I have been know to be wrong before...

The available rebates are as follows:

• Buy 2 boxes of Band-Aids and The Princess and The Frog on Blu-Ray or DVD and get a $5 rebate by mail. You can get the form for that here. It expires June 30th.
• Buy any roll of FrogTape Multi-Surface (24mm, 36mm, or 48mm) painters tape and The Princess and The Frog on Blu-Ray or DVD and get $5 rebate by mail. You can get that form here. It expires May 31st.
• Buy any 2 Success Rice products and The Princess and the Frog and get a $5 rebate by mail. YOu can get that form here. FYI-There is a Success Rice coupon for $1/2 coming out in this weekend’s Red Plum coupon insert or there was a $0.50/1 that was in the Red Plum insert on 1/31 if you still have that. A couple deal tips...First, I hope you all know by now that Walmart and Target price match competitors advertised prices (you should review their coupon matching policies if you are worried about matching). I have not ever price matched at Target yet, but I price match at Walmart ALL THE TIME!! Usually you can just tell the checker the price match price, but I still bring the other ads along just in case you need to prove your price match (it has only happened to me 2 times that I had to whip out an ad and prove the price match.) So, every week I go through all the ads in my mail and in my newspaper and make up a master list of the best prices on the things I need, then I head over to Walmart and price match my weekly shopping. You CAN price match and still use coupons.

I should also note that each Sunday I clip all the coupons which I have organized by expiration date in my coupon bag. I have a master list of all the coupons so I can easily look up coupons on there and I just keep those coupons and the master list in my purse in case I need anything. I recommend you clip coupons and find a way to organize them that works for you!

So, that being said, here is a deal I did just the other day, that you can do too (if you have the coupons):

If you clip coupons and keep them around, somewhere in your coupons you should have a $2 off coupon for ALL detergent (it was in the newspaper on 1/3).

Big Lots has ALL 2X 50 oz. and ALL 3X 32 oz. laundry detergent advertised 2/$5 through 1/23. Take the ad to either Walmart or Target and price match, then use the $2 coupon and you end up getting the laundry detergent for only 50 cents each
