I decided to try out 3 different entrees from the cookbooks they sent and have a variety of options for my guests to eat! I made: Creamy Chicken Pot Pie, And 2 recipes provided by Chef Todd English: Creamy Artichoke Pasta, & Creamy Italian Mac & Cheese. All 3 were delicious and SUPER EASY!! Well, I was lucky enough to have my House Party yesterday. I told you about it here. I was chosen to select a Soleil® Spread the Sunshine House Party. I chose to make it a fun BBQ/family event in conjunction with my daughter's 2nd birthday party. We had 8 adults and 12 kids there and basically just ate, visited, enjoyed the GREAT weather and welcomed summer! Outside there were lots of activities: ball games, sand castle building, chalk drawing, grilling, and visiting.  I think fun was had by all! I know I had a blast and was so happy to have such a successful House Party! I cannot wait to get to do another one! And people were pretty excited about their gifts provided by Bic Soleil®! The gift packs adult guests took home included a sunglasses case, headphones, $3 off coupons, and a  Bic Soleil® razor to test out!  You can see the items pictured above.

Don't those gift packs sound (and look) great?!  I will tell you that I tried the razor, and it is really good! One of the best I have ever tried!! Sorry about the lack of posts yesterday, but thanks to House Party and Arnolds/Oroweat Sandwich Thins I was busy having a party!

The party was a successful lunch with friends with lots of visiting and fun and of course GREAT food! Thanks to this party, I was able to try Arnolds/Oroweat Sandwich Thins for the first time (along with many of my friends), and boy were they good! I am sold! And I even discovered a new sandwich to add to my top 5 faves! Here it is: Sandwich Thins bread, hummus, feta cheese, tomato, cucumber, bacon & avacado! YUMMY!
