Blogger has a very nice stats page that it keeps for blog owners. On it I can see what the top posts are on this blog. 
I can look at top 5 of all time, of last month, of last week, and of the day. The top 5 of all time are clearly more likely to have only older posts on it, because they have had more time to accumulate views. But it still gives a good idea of what people are looking at on here. As to the monthly, weekly and daily stats.

What this tells me: If I want more comments and views, giveaways are key. I was already aware of that, but giveaways are also sometimes complicated and I haven't been doing them much, so lets see what is more recently viewed. Hey Omahans, do you get the newspaper (Omaha World Herald)? Did you notice that there is a whole big story about extreme couponing in the Living section. They interviewed Brandie Mavrich, the author of Mom Saves Money. Congrats to her on a great article. If you haven't seen it, go check it out. It includes tips to getting started and is well worth a read!

My sister, Andrea, and her husband are very tight with sticking to their budget and they have a lot of good tips and tricks for sticking with a budget. To try to share some of the lessons they have learned and the ways they budget, Andrea has started a budgeting blog called Budgeting our Way to Financial Freedom. It is brand new, but I think it already has some good tips and ideas, so please go check it out here.

Well, there is nothing I would like more today than to just cozy up in my warm house and keep posting deals for you, but as it is, I have to go to what I am praying will miraculously be a dry Easter Egg hunt shortly. (No, I cannot skip it-I am the playgroup director and being ever the optimist, I sent out an email that I would be there rain or shine...I thought it would be shine...) Then I have to prepare my house for the invasion of 8-11 year-old girls that will be coming over this evening. So, I have a pretty crazy day.
