Anyone remember this post when I told you that I won a mamaRoo plush in Green Jax.?

Well, the MamaRoo Plush has FINALLY been launched which means mine could FINALLY got out in the mail, and look what just showed up on my door step?!

When Wes gets home he will have to help me put it together then I will post pictures of Everest enjoying his new awesome toy!

I told you here about how Tight Wad in Utah has a section on her blog that is a list of Giveaways ending soon with LOW entries. Well, I have been entering the ones on her list daily, and over the past few weeks I have won a lot of giveaways. In fact, I won one just today from Mrs Nespys Frugal World. That win brings my grand total up to 10, yes TEN wins from the lists on the Tight Wad in Utah blog.

Wanna know what I won? I won a $25 Credit to Applied Labels as part of the Back to School Blowout giveaways on Mrs Nespys Frugal World. She has a TON of Giveaways going on and you should go check them out and enter to win!!

I just want to start out the day by mentioning a couple of things. Last night it was 94 degrees in our house (no AC) and with the humidity it felt like well over 105 degrees. So by the time Wes got home from work, I was done with it all and we decided to take advantage of the kids eating free at Sizzler (that was a FANTASTIC deal BTW-we fed 6 people for less than $30 including tip!)

After eating, it was 7 pm and still really hot and humid so Wes suggested we go walk around the mall for a while. Well, we did, and as we walked in the tornado sirens started so we just walked around for 2 hours until the storm was mostly cleared up and the mall was closing.

I have to tell you that I don't know what is going on this week, but there were MASSIVE, amazing sales everywhere!! Just about every store had HUGE clearance going on-like 60-80% off sales. I mean EVERYWHERE!! In fact, I actually bought something for my daughter (and I regret NOT buying something for me that looked SOOO cute and was such a great deal)!

In my church, kids get baptized when they turn 8, and my daughter turns 8 in December. So we have been kind of looking for deals on nice white baptism dresses, and last night we scored-big time! We learned that usually the dresses we were looking for would run about $50-$150. Last night, we found this dress:

Take a closer look at the beautiful waist on this thing:

It was a bit too big, but easily altered and beautiful-best part, our girl LOVED it! So, we looked at the price tag and BOY WAS THE PRICE RIGHT!!! Look:

In case you could not read that it was marked $79.99, on clearance for $9.99. Can you believe that?! What a steal!! And now I don't have to worry about finding a dress anymore-I am way ahead of the game now!!

Well friends, there is good and bad here...Let's get the sad news over with first...$5.00- 24 packs are done at Walmart. They are now marked as "on sale" for $6.48 (with $7.48 as the regular price). Luckily if you are in Omaha, you can price match them this week for $4.98. So you can still get a good deal this week-stock up just in case this is the end of the cheap soda rush!

The fantastic news is that corn on the cob is only $0.05 each right now!!!! Yes, you read that right, $0.05 each-so I got 20 for a buck today and I was lovin life!!!!! I have not seen corn that cheap since I was a kid shopping with my Papou (that is grandpa in Greek). Boo-yeah!!!

Here is the big long list of all the other fun stuff (ie freebies) I got in the mail over the past week while I was gone. They are all pictured above:

• Letter from Genesis Today explaining that they ran out of their FREE 64 oz Acai Berry bottles, but that they hoped this discount coupon for Goji Berry juice would be appreciated instead-then it had a coupon for a FREE 10 oz Goji Berry Juice! That is a company I like-if they run out of the original samples, they send you something else at least!! NICE!

So, what freebies have you been getting in your mail lately?! I would love to know if you are getting fun stuff as well!

I recently joined Smile.ly and accepted a mission from them to try Snikiddy all natural baked fries, and to share some with my friends. I got the box of samples from them for me and my friends while I was gone as well. I cannot wait to try these out, share them and tell you all about it! Check out the picture above to see what I got! These look so good-I will be eating my bag with my lunch!

Well, coming home to a week's worth of freebies and samples and stuff is awesome (unfortunately I had hospital bills too, but there's nothing to be done about that-I knew it was coming!). One of the great things I got while I was gone, was the great stuff I won in the giveaway I won that I told you about here. My prize package included 2 big boxes of Fruit Roll-Ups Simply Fruit, a huge box of Nature Valley Chewy Trail Mix bars, and a $25 gift card to Costco (all pictured above). My 2-year-old has already eaten like 10 fruit rolls in about 15 minutes before I noticed. I had to hide the open box!!

This one is a $20 Gift Card to the New Proctor and Gamble store from Mama Cheaps. You can see my name as a winner here and you can read more about the prize I won here.

If you have been following this blog for a while, you might remember this post about a Barbie Sweepstakes that I entered and my Solace won!

Well, weeks and weeks passed without anything, then a letter arrived saying that they were out of the barbies and furniture that was promised and hoped that sending a Barbie Fashionista purse would do instead. It said it would be arriving in 6-8 weeks. To be honest, I thought it was just a letter to hold me off so I woudl forget about the win and just let it go.

Goes to show me! Look what arrived in the mail yesterday:

Boo-yeah! You have never seen such a happy 7-year-old!!! She LOVES it! And I am so happy when these things actually show up at my house!!!

Wow, Friday and Saturday were really nice mail days for me!! Check out the exciting things I got in the picture above! I know it is hard to tell what it all is, so let me tell you:

• My Kraft BBQ Summer Pack from Facebook came (really fast)! It contained the 2 Sundried tomato and basil Wheat Thins pictured above (and a third one that I promptly ate), a coupon for a FREE Bulls-Eye BBQ Sauce, a coupon for a FREE Oscar Meyer Hot Dog pack, and 3 free samples of Caramel Latte coffee mixes (not pictured as I gave them away since I do not drink coffee).
• One free Dr Scholl's For Her insole (yes-only one...weird freebie, but I guess they think you will love it so much you go out and buy the set!)
• FREE sample of Philosophy Miracle Worker.
• FREE sample of Kellogg's Fiber Plus bar to try and review from Viewpoints.
• FREE Covergirl ShineBlast Lipgloss from Harper's Bazaar for participating in the Covergirl Insider Program.
• Coupon for any FREE Sunsweet product (up to $5.50 value).
• A bonus sale for the new Hy-Vee location opening here in Omaha (I will wrote more about that in another post).
• THE BIGGEST, AWESOMEST SURPRISE IN MY MAILBOX (mostly because I did not sign up for this one):  a $5 gift card to Walmart (to be used at the newly remodeled L street location).  LOCALS READERS: WATCH your mail for your gift card-it looks like a Walmart ad at first glance, and you have to make sure to open it up to see that the gift card is inside!!

Do you remember when I told you about how free books really come sometimes? And about how I had been randomly selected to receive a book, "Claude and Camille: a Novel of Monet" by Stephanie Cowell from Read it Forward through Crown Publishing?

Well, I got an email yesterday letting me know that I was randomly selected to get ANOTHER book! This time I will be getting Twelve Rooms with a View by Theresa Rebeck! It looks like an interesting read, and I am super excited to get it!!

If you are interested in reading advanced copies of new books, I would recommend checking out the Read It Forward website each month and signing up for a chance at getting any book that looks interesting (there are 3 new ones each month and readers are randomly selected to get them). I sign up for all the books each month and hope t get one occasionally-even if the book may or may not be one I want to read, I sign up. My husband would probably like the ones I would not...

A few weeks back I won an AWESOME giveaway from Cat's blog Nuts in a Nutshell. It was an $80 gift card to Allbarstools.com. As an FYI, they do not JUST sell bar stools, and with my $80, I was able to get a couple really awesome things! I DID end up going over (and thus paying) $1.90, but that is nothin' for what I got!

I got This Picnic Table for the kids:

And I got something I have been wanting for a long time, this toaster oven for me:

Happy Mother's Day to me!! And they will be delivered on my Anniversary, May 17th! So it is like a double present!

Thanks Cat!

Back on February 24, I told you about a possible rebate from Jennie-o here and back on March 20th I told you about some possible rebates in conjunction with purchasing the Princess and the Frog here (I did the Band Aid rebate). I just wanted to follow up and let you know that this past week I received both those rebate checks in the mail! YEAH!! I never actually believe any rebate will work until you show me the money, so I was pretty excited!!! YEAH!!

I am always telling you about giveaways and I try to encourage you to enter giveaways on all the blogs out thre. I LOVE them and enter many giveaways. Want to know why I love and enter so many? Go here and I think you will see why!!!

Thanks so much to Melea at Freebies 2 Deals for doing this giveaway! I cannot believe I WON!!!

Every once in a while I like to post about the great mail I get. I figure it might show how the feebies and deals really do work and come and maybe it will help you to be as excited as I am about the things I post!! Also, when I get things in the mail that I posted about, I go back to that post and put stars by them so you can see that I have actually seen that deal/freebie!

That being said, I can tell you that when I got home from a week long vacation, I had a TON of coupons, deals and freebies to go through (with hardly a bill in sight!). I did not keep a list of all those, but I am about to go mark the posts with stars again.

TODAY in the mail, besides a bank statement (yes I still get those in snail mail) and a Netflix movie, I got a lot of things I have written about. I got 2 coupons from Lofthouse cookies for $1 each, my coupon for FREE Clariol Natural Instincts hair color, my FREE Cosmo magazine (from my free subscription), and a bonus exciting freebie!! Kohl's sent me a $10 gift card good toward the purchase of ANYTHING in the store between April 21 and May 1! WOWSA!!! I am LOVING that!!

Check you mail carefully and maybe you too will get this (or another) great surprise!
