Love Sac President's Day Sale

I am sure you are scratching your head and wondering how I can write about frugal and Love Sacs in the same breath, and honestly I can't. Love Sacs are a bit out of my current price range, so in spite of growing up with ShawnyD, the founder of Love Sac, I still do not own one. But even a frugal, penny-pinchin, coupon clippin mama like me has a splurging wish list, and let me tell you, a Love Sac is at the top of mine!

Why you ask is Beckee rambling on about this? Well, I think if you are going to buy something you want, you should do it when they are on sale! And this weekend, Love Sac is having a 10% off (online & in stores) or 90 days no interest no payments (only in stores with approved credit) Presidents Day Sale. So, if you are in the market for a Love Sac right now, go check out the sale here.

Also, in the email I got about this sale it said:

You can always STALK us on Facebook and Twitter to receive LoveSac news, special discounts and promotions and if you want to get a special discount off your purchase right now just text LOVESACWEB to 32075 and you will receive a special discount code that can be used for your Web or Store purchase!
FYI-no one asked me to blog about this or compensated me in any way for this post. I just thought you might want to know about it!

Photobucket's rain gutter book shelves!

My friend Chelsey emailed me a link to this blog post on and I just fell in love with this idea! And since it is a frugal way to make something nice (and functional) in your home, I wanted to share it with you!

It is instructions for how to make "rain gutter book shelves" in your house. Have you seen these before? They are so cute (when you go to the blog post, you will see what I mean!) I am so excited to try this out (as soon as the house gets clean!) When I get to this-I will post the pictures. In the meantime, please read about it here. Amazing!!

$100 in savings from P&G

I would not be much of a coupon blogger if I did not mention this to my readers. Collect your receipts from 2/1-4/15 for any Proctor & Gamble products you buy (there are a LOT of brands that are P&G). Once you have bought $50 worth of P&G products (can be on seperate receipts, but the $50 total has to be before tax and after coupons) you send in the receipts with their fill out form. Once you have mailed it in, they will send you a coupon book with $100 worth of coupons! Please see the details (and the link for the form) right here.

FREE bottle of Excedrin

If you do not use Excedrin, you can get a coupon for a free bottle. Just go fill out this survey . The survey is one question long then it takes you to a page to fill out your mailing address for the coupon to be sent to. Quick and easy-took me about a minute to do (even on my crappy old desktop!)

Thanks For the Mommas.

Did you get your Oreo coupon?

I know a lot of my readers signed up for the free Oreos on Facebook recently. I know Angela got her coupons in the mail, and I have been reading all over the blogosphere that people have been receiving theirs left and right, but I still have not gotten anything. :(

Have any of you received your free Oreos? Leave a comment and let me know (you can comment on Facebook or on the blog and I will see either way).
