Friends, I have 5 smelly kids that live with me...they are messy and dirty because they play hard! They make a lot of smelly laundry and dishes that I am not always caught up on (sad but true admission). So, my house doesn't always smell great. It's just true.

However, I make a huge effort to make my house smell nice and I am glad for all the help I can get. My favorite thing to do to make my house smell great is to bake cookies, but when I do that all the time I find I gain mucho weight!! MUCHO! So, I look to my second favorite way to make it smell nice-air fresheners! LOVE them! But I am super picky about them too! I figure if I am making my house smell like something it better be something I love! Which is one of the reasons my favorite time of year is fall through Christmas. That is the time my mom would always bring out all the fall/winter decorations and there were a few of them that smelled AWESOME!

When I look for air fresheners of any kind, I am always trying to find those smells that brings me back home! I love them. I rarely find just what I am looking for, but I am pleased to tell you that when I picked up my new Renuzit Holiday Fresh Accent scent, I FOUND ONE OF MY SMELLS!!!

I was transported back home with my family! The new Winter Berry is just like a wonderful wreath we had growing up! I love it! It has the perfect wintry berry smell with just a hint of Christmas tree. Though the Festive Snow scent was not a nostalgic one for me, it is equally awesome! It smells fresh and sort of like fresh laundered linens.

Boy was there excitement and jealousy in this house when I was given this opportunity! If you are a friend or regular reader, you probably know I have 3 boys, one is a baby and the older two are 5 and 7. So, the guys have to take turns helping mom review boy products. This specific review was aimed to boys ages 3-5, so it was Army's turn to help me. Boy was E Dawg jealous! We may be making another one of these soon...
With that I am sure you are dying to know what has caused all the excitement at the Beckee's Deals house! This did:

It is a SAH-WEET Custom Hot Wheels truck! Oh yeah!! CUSTOM!! Army got to pick his style of car/truck, choose a picture to put on it and choose a little sentence to put on it. We thought he might pick a picture of himself and put something like "Army's ride" or "Army rules!". He didn't! That sweet little guy went with this:


Could you see the picture and words? The picture is of his baby brother and him and the words say "I love my Family"

By now you are surely asking yourself "How does one make such a prized possession for my little kiddo?" Well, I am happy to report it is pretty easy to do! You just go to Hot Wheels Customs Website and follow the 6 easy steps on the page to make your own Hot Wheels Custom. It will be to your house in a few weeks (So Christmas shopping should be done soon!)

What did mom think?

Super easy to make. The 6 steps on the website are easy to follow and the website was easy to navigate. We did have to get a picture that we could frame in the available space for the truck he chose, but it was easy to fit the picture in. The whole process of making it on their site was easy!

After making it, the time frame to get the truck seemed like it was going to take forever, but it is a CUSTOM item after all. And in the end, it really only took a couple weeks to get here! It is super cute and Army (and all the other kids) love to play with it! It would be a SUPER cute Christmas gift! I am thinking of making ones with the boys pictures on the top and names on the side just so there is no more fighting over which truck belongs to which child! It would be well marked on their own Custom Hot Wheel! Cute idea, right?!

More importantly, What did Army think?

"It was easy to make online with mom's help. When it came to our house I thought it would be cool to play but mom made me wait to open it. (Mom note-just to take pics for the review) When I opened it, it looked like exactly how I remembered I made it just for me! I love my truck and my family and that is my final words!"

One of my favorite snacks or breakfasts is cherry yogurt. I love the Yoplait® kind with chunks of cherries. I don't buy yogurt as much as I would like because it is gone so quick in this family of 7. If you do not know this, I have a bit a a sweet tooth. I eat a lot of sugary snacks (as my husband pointed out to me the other week). I am also trying to lose weight so I have been cutting down on "treats". So, I was excited to learn about ProBars. They offer delicious, convenient, healthy plant based snack foods. They're low in sugar, dairy-free and organic. They are a healthy treat that you and your kids can enjoy!!

We tried the ProBars sample pack AND the HALO variety pack. We loved both but let me just focus on the HALO bars, which included their new Honey Graham, Nutty Marshmallow, Rocky Road, and S'Mores Halo™ bars. Each bar is just 150 calories! Much less than a candy bar! (I replaced candy bars with these bars and It has saved me a ton of calories!!)

I expected these would be a hard granola type bar, but they are not at all. They are actually moist and soft (not like hard granola bars). I was glad I got to try all four flavors because in our house we had a wide array of reactions to the different flavors. Each of us had a different favorite, and there was one flavor we each disliked. I thought I would like the S'mores one best but it did not taste much like a S'more to me so I did not like it much (probably because my expectation was so different). I thought I would not like the Honey Graham so I tasted it last, but ended up liking that flavor the most! My kids thought the Rocky Road was the best, my daughter liked Nutty Marshmallow and my husband liked the Smores.

As mentioned above, I replaced a candy bar a day with these HALO bars and was able to save some major calories. I feel it has helped me along the path to lose this baby weight!! Check out this comparison of HALO bars to candy bars:
