Beckee's Best of Omaha Grocery 12/8-12/14

***Remember that I generally just price match at Walmart as much as I can rather than go to all the stores separately! I LOVE being able to do that. Walmart will pricematch their generic to other stores generic brand as well! And remember, you can also pricematch at Target, but I find it easier to pricematch at Walmart.***

Coming soon...

I feel a lot like the picture above this month...and especially this week!!
I am seeing a lot of good stuff to post, and I am working on the Best of Omaha Grocery for this week, but I have a playgroup this morning, so I will be taking the rest of the morning off. I will finish the grocery post and try to get up some of the other deals going on as well this afternoon before my birthday girl gets home from school!
If you are reading this in the daily email, and the grocery round up did not make it in the email, just check the blog a little later this afternoon and it will be there (or wait until tomorrow and it will be in your email).

50 FREE 4x8 cards from See Here-just pay $4.99 shipping!!

I have been waiting and hoping this deal would come up this year. I am sadly NOT doing holiday cards this year (I just feel too crazy). However, my daughter is turning 8 today, and I need to make around 75 invitations to her baptism which will be right after Christmas (in our church we baptize children at the age of 8, not at birth like many other churches). So, I was waiting for a GREAT card making deal to come up and look what you can get now:
Now, through December 12, you can get 50 FREE 4×8 photo cards from SeeHere and pay only $4.99 for shipping. Even if you already made your holiday cards, this is a great deal and you could use it to make thank you cards or invitations or something.
HOW TO GET IT: Go to See Here's site, make your 4x8 photo cards and at checkout make sure to use coupon code 50cards. (BTW-some bloggers are reporting that these do not have to be 50 of the same cards.)
I am totally making those baptism invitation today with this deal (as soon as I get some pictures of my girl in her baptism dress to put on the invitation)!!! WAHOO! Thanks goodness for this awesome deal!!! :)

Getting to Know you...Just for fun...

Candice over at Stash Mama does a fun weekly feature that I thought would be fun to join in. Each week she does a Whatcha Say Wednesday, and how it works is like this: she posts a few fun "getting to know" type questions on Tuesday, you answer them on your blog then go back on Wednesday and link up your answers. I thought I would try it out this week and maybe let you see a little peek into the world of Beckee.
Here are the questions she posted for tomorrow:
1. If you could go to any country for free, where would you go and why?
2. If you were a time traveler and could only go back in time or forward in time, which would you choose?
3. What was your first job?
Bonus!
Why isn’t the number 11 pronounced onety one?
Feel free to answer these questions in a comment here as well if you so desire. I would LOVE to get to know my readers better through these fun questions! Here are my answers:
1. I would travel to Greece for sure! I have been there once before and there was so much to do that I would love to go back and do and see more of the country. It is also where my mom's mom family is from and many relatives are still there.
2. I would go back in time not forward! I know what to expect in the past and can pick and choose the past times I wanted to go back to-my wedding, the births of my 4 kids, etc. Also, I would love to go back and talk to some of the family that has passed on!
3. It was as a dresser for Fashion shows at Nordstrom.
Bonus: Really, I have NO clue...What are your thoughts?
